"What is your true nature?" "What do you know about yourself if you go beyond your usual definition of yourself?" "What do you rely on to give meaning to your life?" These are questions that all of us helping relationship practitioners should ask ourselves if we are to support our patients (clients, students, etc.) to have an honest and deep contact with their essence.
The more the relationship with our true nature is free from constraints and restrictions, the more we can offer a space for spontaneous expression to those who ask us for help. In fact, to be able to teach how to welcome joy, pain and confusion, we are continually challenged to reflect and act from the contact with our essence.
In this seminar, we will try to offer you the opportunity to enter into a deeper relationship with our 'true nature' and reflect on how this depth can help us improve our ability to create meaningful relationships, as professionals and as human beings.
To do this, we will draw on K. Neff's theory and practice of self-compassion, psychosynthesis and Buddhist psychology.
